Izzo is an Italian coffee brand that roast and supply coffee beans and ground coffee worldwide. They also supply branded espresso machines. Which are manufactured using the Fiorenzato design and components.
This is a great little machine (we call her The Izzy) which has traditional looks that would fit well into a stylish contemporary coffee shop or bar. The group heads have been completely stripped and cleaned using a technique that leaves no old coffee residues or oils, new seals shower plates and solenoids have been fitted. The steam wands are brand new, so no old milk residues. All taps have been stripped and cleaned and been fitted with new pad seals. The tank has been de-scaled. The espresso shot is dispensed manually by the barista. This requires a little more attention but is very straight forward. It is not a push 1 button and it makes a coffee for you. The advantages of this are that the barista has total control of the espresso shot being served, and therefore there is no on-board electronic box of wizardry to go wrong (usually the most expensive part to replace and often the death nell of many a good machine). We think The Izzy looks great. To be clear this is a previously used machine which inevitabley has some light scratches and dings to the stainless steel. This in no way hinders it's performance or overall appearance. We use private couriers so may take 3-5 days.
