I got this a few years ago from a pub that closed down. I had it serviced then and we used it quite a lot to start with but now we never use it. It's a magnificent machine. This is really a catering or office machine, unless you have a large household.
As it's main component is a boiler I would suggest that you get it serviced. There's nothing wrong, just a suggestion. This is the earlier model to the Duetto. It's really really heavy. It's simply too bulky and heavy. I will add some more photos. I would describe the condition as good, it's stainless steel and has no dents or bumps, it's single phase, meaning it has a household 240 plug on it.
I don't know how old it is. That's why I had it serviced when I got it. Websites like bellabarista hold parts for it and great forums. If you want to arrange a courier at your expense then I can make myself available. Collection would be from Purley, Surrey, CR8 4DN.I have read quite a few message and enquiries. And I will post more photos today, I was in a hurry yesterday. It does make great coffee. In answer to some more questions. The height is 40cm, width is 30 cm and depth is 40cm. And I will definitely NOT post. If you want to arrange a courier at your cost then fine. This is an Izzo MyWay Alex Mk 1 Espresso Machine. Regarding the machine age, the plug has a electrical safety sticker with 2009 on it. Thats the only date on it, it may be older, I have no idea. As you can see from the video, it take a while to warm up, the red light stays on and when the boiler is at the right temperature, then green light comes on, which isn't clear in the video, but it does.
