Elektra Micro Casa Leva Lever S1 MCAL 12008 Chrome. Coffee Machine

This is a 2008 Elektra Micro Casa Leva with a UK plug adapter. It is in good condition with some corrosion under the drip tray. It has only had light use recently and been in storage.

The pressure cap on the top has become brittle and will eventually need to be replaced but Elektra spares can be easily sourced in the UK. The seals and gaskets were replaced last service so it should be good to go for a while. Its a beautiful machine capable of delivering outstanding coffee but you will need to experiment with grind fineness and dosage to get optimum results. The boiler delivers excellent steaming capability from the steam wand.

Other things to note about machine is that the pressure gauge does not sit at zero. However the machine thermostat operates correctly once the machine is up to pressure. It's a stunning machine that will provide many many years of service if well maintained. The machine does get very hot and this should be noted. Also, you must make sure that the portafilter is locked in properly before pulling a shot.

I always hold the portafilter when pulling down the lever for extra security. You will also need to invest in a tamper because the original plastic one was damaged. You ought to get a weighty professional tamper anyway to get the best shots.
