The Slayer One Group is a professional espresso machine with flavor profiling, and it excels in the home or cafe. Each unit is entirely hand-built in Seattle. Slayer Espresso has taken the best of existing technology and combined it with an ingenuitive pre-brew system to bring us a flavor profiling machine like no other. Using patented precision needle valve technology, the flow of water can be reduced to softly pre-infuse the coffee and allow it to bloom before extraction. Pre-brew can either be programmed in or manually controlled using the paddle actuator, giving the barista a great feel for every shot.

The pre-brew function can also be used to ease off the water flow at the end of the extraction to provide yet another dimension to your espresso. The temperature, brew pump pressure, and general settings are accessed via a glass touchscreen which also digitally displays both pre-brew and full-brew shot times. The machine houses a proprietary quiet gear pump and generously large dual boilers with accurate PID temperature control.

The saturated brew group with a pre-heat coil delivers consistent temperatures to the group head and contains an auto-bleed function. Designed and handmade in Seattle, Slayer 1-Group espresso machines can be personalized to fit into any environment, or to stand out and make its presence known. The machines are direct-plumb only, and also require a drain line from the drip tray. A custom Slayer is the perfect way to add your personality to your kitchen or office. Slayer 58 mm bottomless portafilter.

5 FT of 3/8 OD braided steel water line. 5/8 vinyl drain line with adjustable hose clamp. Peruvian walnut actuators and handles. Flavor profiling w/ various brew sequences.

Variable flow rate w/ precision needle valve. Personalized steam pressure w/ PID and assorted tips. Temp adjustable in 0.1° increments (C or F). Brew pressure gauge on front panel. Direct plumbing means you can hook a machine directly a water line and never have to worry about refilling your reservoir again. These machines also allow you to connect the drip tray to a drain so you don't have to make that tightrope walk to the sink. Saturated group heads are essentially surrounded by an extended section of the boiler. This means they warm up much faster than E61 group heads and hold a specified temperature more precisely. These machines are built from the ground up with the home barista in mind. They a wide range of needs but what they all have in common is a focus on creating a great user experience in a footprint that will fit on your counter, and look great there too. Looking to pull some espresso at a wedding or serve cappuccinos to all your holiday party guests? Want to upgrade your office coffee setup? Youll need a durable machine that can keep up with the crowds.

Any of these espresso machines can bring the heat and look beautiful doing it. Pressure or flow profiling allow the user control over a coffees flavor profile. Acidity, sweetness and body can be changed by altering the rate and volume of water flow. Profiling machines also have different options for saving profiles for ease of automation and repeatability.

Dedicated temperature controlled boilers for brewing and steaming means both functions can happen simultaneously, with the additional advantage of fine tunability. Sour and bitter espresso flavors can be minimized by raising or lowering brew temperature, resulting in a smoother shot. Adjusting the temperature of the steam boiler can increase or decrease the amount of steam power to suit different drink size milk drinks.

Gear pumps are capable of more advanced espresso performance by nature of the user being able to change pump pressure during the shot. Vibratory and rotary pumps primarily extract espresso at a constant 9 bar brew pressure like youll find in typical cafes. PIDs allow the most precise temperature adjustment and control of boilers by continuously calculating the amount of power needed to maintain the target temperature. They also allow more detailed information to be displayed to the user than digital temperature controlled systems. Shot timers measure the brew time from the time the pump is activated.

This information is extremely helpful for dialing in an espresso grinder to the ideal 25 second 1.5oz shot, and maintaining consistency. Depth: 24.3" (17.5" foot to foot).
