Traditional Commercial Vintage Retro Lever Espresso Coffee Machine This machine was built by Futurmat and is labelled Futurmat Custom. They don't break and the seals are easily replaced.

There is no computer to fail, no pump to cause issues and the way a lever works means there is little to no coffee forced back into the groups which cause blockages and require constant back flushing. Another misconception with levers is that they are slow.

This is not true, the extraction time should be exactly the same as with a pump machine, it depends on how fine you grind the coffee and how hard you tamp it. The machine is 2700watts and is fine to run from a single plug.

The whole machine has recently been stripped down to a bare shell and been completely rebuilt. The lever groups are both brand new, every single seal has been replaced and the heating element is also new. The taps are new, the springs in the taps are new.

The stainless and aluminium has been polished and the boiler and pipework has all been soaked in acid to completely remove any limescale. The steam wands are stainless steel so they wont look shabby when the chrome comes off, as it does on normal steam wands. I have plumbed it in today and it makes amazing coffee and the silkiest milk... I will be using it daily until the end of sale so it can be demonstrated to its new owners and I can carry on enjoying the finest espresso based beverages in the world.
